Rules Updated as of April 29, 2008
1. Registration
- Ichiraku upholds a "one account per person" policy here. Anyone caught having/using multiple accounts will be dealt with accordingly. Use may include but are not limited to transferring of RPG points, impersonating people, scamming etc, etc.
- Accounts of people who registered but did not post at all (0 post) after 100 days would be deleted without further notice.
2. Advertising
-You are allowed to advertise your site but you are not allowed to spam your posts with them. If you want to have your posts to have a link to your site, add it to your signature.
3. Spamming and Double Posting.
-This is a Filipino-based board so while it's easy to commit spamming such us:
User 1: Ang ganda ng anime na ito no?
User2: Oo, ang galing ng gumawa!
User1: Correct!....
User2: grin grin grin
User1: grin Wink grin
It's highly frowned up. Not only will you degrade the quality of the boards by adding little to the conversation/topics but you are also lessening the respect for you by people who would notice. For the lesser cases, verbal warnings issued to spammers via PM. In worse cases, your account will be suspended.
-Double posting not allowed. Your posts have an edit function. Use it if you want to update something. No it can't update the time stamp (the date your reply was posted) but it will feature and Edited prompt at the bottom.
4. Reporting Problems
- If you are having any type of problems regarding the forums, whether it's technical problem or question or any problem regarding members, please feel free to send a private message to any of the council. (yume_tsukine, kana, han, sylv3rblade) and we'll try our best to help!
5. Thread Hijacking
It's now the common problem of Ichiraku Ramen. We are not asking you to stay completely on topics; it's a natural thing when a conversation leads to another. But please do not go "off-topic" on purpose. When a member or the author of the topic asked you to stop and get back on topic please do what was told or the author or any member can report it to a mod or admin.
6. Pornography
Not everyone here in Ichiraku Ramen are adults. So please be aware of what you are posting. Materials flagged as Adult is only tolerated on Icha Icha Paradise, and the Boy's/Girl's Club.
7. Account
Ichiraku's staff is not liable for anything you do with your account. We are not responsible for any actions that anyone will take if you lend your account or account information to someone else. The owner of said account should and must take responsibility for said event.
However, if you account has been hacked or taken from you forcibly, we, the staff can help you get it back.
8. Infraction System
Vbulletin uses the infraction system to mark the misdemeanors of members. This is how the infraction system rates bad behavior so far:
Spamming 1
Signature Rule Violation 1
Flaming Other Member(s) 3
Abuse of the RPG 5 Insulted a Staff member 5
Note that if you reach 10 points. Your account will be temporarily suspended for a minimum of 10 days.
Infractions rules are subject to change without prior notice.
9. Avatars and Signatures
- Avatars and Signatures should not contain offensive/disturbing/obscene images, texts or links.
- Avatars are limited to 100px x 100px and 50kb. Files that go beyond this limit are automatically resized.
- Signature pics sizes should not be larger than 500KB or 500x200 in dimensions. Do remember that not all ichiraku members use DSL or higher. Please use common sense on the size of your signatures otherwise they will be removed.
10. Ichiraku Ramen Blog and Ichiraku Ramen Album
- Do not use the blog to advertise. It's a blog. Use it like one.
- Images uploaded to the Ichiraku Ramen Album should be about Ichiraku, it's members and anything related to it. Unrelated images will not be tolerated.
